Your information

Privacy Policy

This notice explains what Guidellor collects when you use our websites and services, why we use it, who may process it, and the choices available to you.

Effective: 22 July 2026

In short: we use the information you provide to answer your request and deliver the service you choose. We do not sell personal information. Some services use trusted providers, including messaging, payment, document and AI tools.

Information we collect

Depending on the service, this may include:

How we use it

We only send optional promotional follow-up where you have agreed or where applicable law otherwise permits it. You may ask us to stop at any time.

Service providers and sharing

We share information only when needed to operate a service, follow your instructions, protect users or comply with law. Providers may include WhatsApp/Meta for messages, Google services for submitted document links, FormSubmit for selected website-form delivery, Stripe for payment processing, hosting and email providers, and Anthropic for AI-assisted Match content. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices, and information may be handled outside your country.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect someone from harm, or as part of a legitimate business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Match and AI-assisted services

Match combines the profile you enter with Guidellor's reference data and AI-assisted text generation. Its chance bands are directional guidance, not an official probability or a decision by any university. Avoid entering passwords, identity documents, medical details or other information that is not requested.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes and comply with law. Retention periods vary by record type. We use reasonable organizational and technical controls, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Students and families

Our services often concern school-age students. A student who is below the age at which they can legally consent to data processing in their country should use the service with a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians should remain involved in service choices, payments, document sharing and material application decisions. Please do not submit information about another person without authority to do so.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict certain use, withdraw consent, or request a portable copy. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law requires it.

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows the latest published version. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably practical.
